It’s that time of the year again and we are not talking about Halloween, not talking about the elections in the US, not talking about daylight saving time change, although you should probably make a note of that too, we are not talking about the 50th anniversary of the first episode of Charlie Brown’s “It’s the great pumpkin”, but we sure are talking about the upcoming AAPEX 2016.
Every year, AAPEX and SEMA together gathers thousands of visitors from all around the world. AAPEX is co-owned by the Auto Care Association and the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA), the light vehicle aftermarket division of the Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA). Temel Gaskets is ranked among the top 100 aftermarket suppliers of AASA’s list.
You can check out Temel Gaskets’ booth overview video, captured by Engine Builder last year.
Las Vegas hasn’t changed much but it might be good to do a refresher on some of the tips and guidelines we’ve been sharing for the show from the previous years. We always want to remind everyone to stay hydrated, be wary of the taxi lines although they tend to move fast, have a list of booths you want to visit otherwise AAPEX is full of distractions and even if you don’t think you have ADHD, you may feel like you do.

Temel Gaskets is once again sponsoring an important part of the AAPEX program. Please make a note of the general session with the keynote speaker General Michael V. Hayden on Wednesday, the second day of the show from 8 to 8:50 local time. Michael Hayden is a retired four-star general, former director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the National Security Agency (NSA). During his address, Hayden will dissect political situations in hot spots around the world, analyzing the tumultuous global environment. He will speak on the need to adapt to the ever-changing informational landscape and the dangers, risks, and potential rewards. The session is open to all attendees and exhibitors.
