As we wrap up 2016, we would like to take a moment to thank all of our customers, our business partners, colleagues, friends and our families for their support, believing in our vision, confidence in our passion to take Temel to the next level. In case you have missed, here are a few of the updates we shared from the past year: AASA’s Top 100 Aftermarket Suppliers Temel Gaskets was ranked among AASA’s Top 100 Aftermarket Suppliers in North America, 2nd year in a row. Interface Certified Partner Temel Gaskets’ years of partnership has been formalized by Interface Performance Materials, awarding Temel Gaskets the exclusive recognition of being its Certified Partner in Turkey. SAE International President in Atlanta On, April 18, the SAE Atlanta Chapter hosted SAE International President, Cuneyt L. Oge, at their quarterly meeting. The meeting took place at Georgia Institute of Technology. YANG Regional Meet-up in Atlanta Temel Gaskets co-hosted the second regional Atlanta meet up for YANG with Global Parts Distributors. Last year we hosted the first ever regional meet up, and had a successful turnout. Temel Gaskets Visits Detroit Temel Gaskets participated in a delegation visit as part of TAYSAD, a Turkish automotive organization that promotes unity between government and manufacturers. (view of the AMS entrance 2016) Automechanika Shanghai is opening its doors tomorrow for its 2016 episode at the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Shanghai) in Hongqiao, Puxi. Only the second time at the new exhibition site, on November 30th, thousands of visitors and exhibitors from the global automotive industry will meet to discuss the latest technologies, new products and the upcoming. This is Temel Gaskets‘ third time exhibiting at the AMS. The success of past participations gives us great confidence that this year’s episode will be just as productive, if not more. 2016 has proven to be a productive year for Temel Gaskets so far. Our team has traveled the United States and many international locations to expand our business opportunities and make new connections. In addition to our travels, the Temel Gaskets team works diligently in our US and Turkish offices and continues making great efforts to provide optimal client satisfaction. The year began with goal setting, and planning the events we would attend and achievements we aimed to accomplish. In our article on goal setting, we used a combination of tips from Heidi Grant Halvorson and Six Sigma to create a plan of action for the year. We discussed goal setting techniques that can be applied to business goals and outside ambitions. Atlanta was overflowing with local automotive industry related events in early 2016. In January, Next Generation Manufacturing hosted a Young Professionals networking event and SAE Atlanta welcomed HondaJet Aircraft Company Representative, Samantha A. Magill PhD, as the featured speaker of their quarterly meeting. On February 3, Tunc Kip, from Temel Gaskets and Olivia Whitehurst, from Global Parts Distributors, hosted a YANG Regional Meet-Up with guest speaker Glenn Carver, VP of Business Development and DeltaWings Technologies, who spoke about making beneficial career moves and finding your passion. In late January, Temel Gaskets participated in Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW) 2016 where attendees were presented with the latest product developments from the heavy duty industry. This was the first trade show we attended as an HDMA member. We also competed in the CSVN Pinewood Challenge, hosted by Minimizer, which attracted several attendees and provided a friendly environment for companies to compete...
